JJ HUDSON a.k.a. #jmojii has been performing on stage since the age of 4. She started with her love for all genres of dance & love for classical piano, inventing her own 88 key run style. She was inspired by her family's "deep roots" back to Russia & Poland as a 5th generation artist & musician.
Following the dance & music genre also brought her at the age of 14 to rank in the top 20 at the ESPN National Cheer Competition. She competed as the youngest with her 18-year-old team mates. She developed & performed 2 signature moves with her team that became nationally acclaimed.
As a National Model, JJ has modeled for top fashion houses & clothing lines. Her career path took her to living in Miami, Florida & empowered her to perfect her modeling craft at a very young age. Seattle, Washington is currently her home town but loves to travel anywhere in the world!
When she is not modeling or playing the piano, JJ lives her tomboy-hip-hop-spirit with the love of the outdoors & sports. She is emotionally involved with Runway to Freedom as a philanthropist.
JJ Hudson has been blessed to be mentored by the Legendary DJ Nasty Nes, GrandMixer GMS & The High Children Family. Nasty Nes continues to inspire her everyday & opens her eyes to her craft as she is his weekly guest promoter for his radio show on RainierAvenueRadio.world
She also appears as a brand ambassador for many international brands, philanthropic events, pod casts & magazines. Lines
What made you begin creating music?I've always been passionate about music since a very young age. Being part of The High Children family is what really got me deeper in the music industry. I use music as a positive outlet after I escaped homelessness, drug addiction (now three years clean from addiction) & being a survivor of domestic violence. I just want to be a positive role model for those who experienced similar life stories.
How would you describe your style?I'm a little old school meets new school rap style.
What sets you apart from other artists?"Fearless, Original, Role Model." I feel it's important to stay original in the rap genre, by "Being You" & not like anyone else. Bring out traits that you like from others around you & grow into a better version of you.
Is there a message you hope to portray through your work?I don't just rap for women; I rap for all! I'm for gender equality hopefully empowering all genders with my lyrics & confidence that I obtained from my life's experiences. Both good & bad.
